The selectable EdgeSenseï¿½ feature provides the nursing staff with a proactive, true early warning alarm if the patient is sitting on the edge of the bed about to fall. Unlike other systems available, the patientï¿½s weight doesnï¿½t have to be removed from the UltiMatï¿½ sensor before an alarm will sound. This just makes good sense. We call it EdgeSenseï¿½.
